Asset Manager Checklist

1. before you buy

• Read the Before Your Purchase DryLINK Asset Manager document.
• Understanding what you need to buy, what the upfront costs will be, and what the monthly recurring costs will be.
• Consider the time and manpower required for setup and installation. Approximately 2-5 minutes to add a tag and 2-3 hours for each gateway (warehouse, vehicle and trailer). Anticipate anywhere from 30 days – 60 days to bring system online active.
• Place order for gateways and tags.

2. Setting up your DryLINK Company in the Portal (useDryLINK.com)

• Set up your DryLINK company but do not activate your free trial yet, use DryLINK Basic. (Setting Up Your DryLINK Account)
• Invite all employees who will be using DryLINK to your DryLINK company (everyone must be invited to the same company).
• Update and complete list of existing equipment (use numbering and naming system in spreadsheet). (Import Template).
• Send DryLINK equipment import template to Phoenix for importation into your DryLINK company.

3. Associate Tags to the equipment with the DryLINK App

• Make sure that your DryLINK account is setup and all employees are invited to the account.
• Open your DryLINK account and confirm that the equipment list is imported correctly.
• Warehouse gateway installed and activated (Warehouse Gateway Installation Guide).
• Start installing tags on equipment.
• Install all tags to equipment listed on the spreadsheet. (Tagging & Claiming Your Equipment)
• Claim all equipment into your DryLINK company (Tagging & Claiming Your Equipment)
• Confirm all equipment is showing up properly in the DryLINK app and on the portal.

4. INSTALL YOUR GATEWAYS

• NOTE: the day a gateway is turned on is the day that gateway subscription starts. Billing is at the first of the month and billing is prorated.
• Install your warehouse gateways first (Adding Your Warehouses) (Warehouse Gateway Installation)
• Enable your free 60-day trial of DryLINK Asset Manager (you will now see an Asset Manager tab in useDryLINK.com) (Your Gateway Kit) (Starting your DryLINK Subscription)
• Install your vehicle gateways – you must follow the attached instructions. (Vehicle Gateway Installation) (Registering Your Vehicle Gateways)

5. Log in to the DryLINK web portal and learn how to use DryLINK Asset Manager

• Note: Until you turn on a job management platform integration, you will need to enter jobs into DryLINK manually. In the DryLINK web portal, navigate to the DryLINK Settings menu and click the integrations tab. Each integration has instructions which can be downloaded by clicking on the information button.
